Joan was recognized for her efforts to encourage understanding and a positive attitude on women's health - especially in the area of menopause. The Be Menopostive! seminars have touched more than 24,000 women across Canada. "Along with providing women with accurate information, our program deals with the issue of self-image," says Joan Komer.
